Types of Engineering Courses

  1. Bachelor of Electrical Engineering

The Electrical Engineering Department at Manav School of Engineering & Technology has a mission of developing engineers who can use electrical power to solve the world’s problems. The emphasis of the program is on students learning the fundamentals of electrical systems including electrical circuits and power generation, along with innovative solutions for future energy requirements.

Students will experience an all-inclusive curriculum in which they will learn theory, practical applications, and training in advanced technology. Whether it be renewable energy or smart grids, students graduate ready to energize the electrical engineering world.

  1. Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering

Our Mechanical Engineering Department values creativity and the application of high-level technical knowledge. The Department combined basic mechanical design principles with advanced technology to prepare students to construct systems and machines for the industry.

Right from the first semester, students are involved in a curriculum that is heavily influenced by industry requirements and demands. This curriculum is a practical blend of theoretical concepts and usage of the industry’s tools, complex design principles, and real-world constraints. We aim to shape engineers through our program, who are not only knowledgeable in the working of machines but are also able to create new and innovative solutions for the rapidly growing engineering community.

  1. Bachelor of Civil Engineering

Our Civil Engineering Department is one of the engineering branches which deal with designing, constructing, and maintaining the man-made and natural environment. The department also includes those works that are usually the area of the public like roads, bridges, canals, dams, airports, sewers, pipelines, structural components, and railways.

Usually, civil engineering is separated into different branches. It is the second oldest branch of engineering, after army engineering, and it was so named to differentiate non-military from military engineering. Civil engineering has been a major focus of both sectors, from the public, which includes municipal public works and federal agencies, and the private sector, at the Center for Applied Research and Engineering.

 4. Bachelor of Computer Engineering

The Computer Engineering Department at Manav School of Engineering & Technology aims to create a generation of technology professionals prepared to face the challenges of an increasingly changing digital world. We prepare our students with both hardware and software expertise, giving them the ability to work in an area of IT of their choosing.

The department emphasizes teaching the foundational concepts of programming and advanced technology fields, such as machine learning and cloud computing, while bridging the theoretical concepts presented in course materials with a real-world application of technology. We train our students to keep pace with technology changes and to drive it.

Types of Polytechnic Courses

  1. Diploma in Computer Engineering

Polytechnic’s Computer Engineering Department aims to train students who are technically skilled and can thrive in the modern world. The department’s degree program will enable the students a thorough domain of knowledge in hardware and software so as to prepare them to move confidently into the IT and tech field.

The curriculum by project-based learning of basic programming concepts, day-to-day networking concepts, database concepts, and introductory AI concepts is crafted to cover theory, to be exact, and its application. We train our students to adopt theoretical concepts in practical areas by giving them the opportunity to experience the labs and use the professional software/tools including creating the software, hardware production, and going through the physical and fundamental parts of the computing field.

  1. Diploma in Civil Engineering

Promise and Purpose of the Polytechnic Civil Engineering Department has never been in question. The school, since its inception, has put the focus on teaching, training, and skill development to produce qualified diploma engineers. The Diploma is conceived with a combination of practical and field studies, which equips the students with the necessary skills to work in the area of construction, surveying, and infrastructure development.

The programmatic curriculum of the first year makes the budding engineers actually learn the basics of civil engineering – how design, testing, and construction of roads, buildings, bridges, and public utilities function. We do a mix of theory, labs, and fieldwork to make sure each student is job-ready on the day of graduation.

  1. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Our Mechanical Engineering Department of Polytechnic provides education that is highly detailed and hands-on. The students passing through our department get complete technical expertise which they can use in any great and typical industry idea vehicles and manufacturing to robotics and power plants. It is through the harmonious inclusion of theory, design thinking and hands-on fabrication that the program delights our future mechanical technicians with the diploma that prepares them for the real world.

Student experience begins with learning the basics of thermodynamics, strength of materials, and machine design, after which we get into the latest topics like CAD design, CNC machines and industrial automation. The focal point of our education will always be, experiment to learn.

  1. Diploma in Electrical Engineering

The Polytechnic Electrical Engineering curriculum is designed to groom a professional who is able to design, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems of the modern world. Apart from being limited in power generation, automation, electrical design, and manufacturing, the program is also open to other works of technicians and engineers.

The program, which commences with circuits and electricity machines, takes its students step by step into the world of electrical engineering such as power system, electrical wiring, and PLC operation (Programmable Logic Controller). Since this program is student learning facilitated, students get multiple opportunities to practice their learned skills in practicals, workshops, and lab work.

Conclusion

To sum up, deciding on engineering for your professional career is equivalent to the “World of no end possibilities”. Through it, you not only get to acquire problem-solving skills and the relevant technical knowledge but also leverage your power to come up with practical solutions that positively affect the community.

The scope of engineering is vast and varied and includes, but is not limited to, the following fields: technology, energy, environment, medicine, and transportation. It is a career that can bring you both joy and make a difference in society. In addition, you will be capable of turning your concepts into the real world and be the first to use creativity and determination in transforming the future whichever of the following you are most enthusiastic about: computers, mechanics, electronics, or civil structures.
